Editorial standards
NorthernTradie compares tradie software and operations tools for Australian trade businesses. These standards explain how we keep pages useful, honest and maintainable.
Purpose & audience
Content is written for owners and operations staff at Australian trade businesses who are evaluating SaaS for quoting, invoicing, job management, scheduling, fleet and AI workflows. Local directory pages may exist for discovery; the editorial product is comparison-first software guidance.
Independence & affiliates
Where we earn commissions or referral fees, we disclose that relationship on the relevant page and in our review methodology. Commercial relationships do not change our requirement to describe limitations, pricing caveats and integration constraints accurately.
Accuracy & updates
Software vendors change pricing, features and regions frequently. We date-stamp major revisions where practical and refresh category hubs and comparison pages on a rolling cadence. If you believe something is outdated or incorrect, use the site contact flow and include the URL and a primary source (vendor doc or changelog) where possible.
Corrections
Factual corrections take priority over cosmetic edits. When we fix a material error, we update the page and, where relevant, note the change in context (for example pricing or availability in Australia).
